Privacy & COPPA Notice

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from any child under 13. Account creation requires a date of birth, and registrations that indicate the user is under 13 are blocked at signup and rejected at the database level.

• We require a date of birth on every account and refuse signup for anyone under 13.
• We do not run features, advertising, or content directed at children under 13.
• Recording, hosting, advertising, and guest-booking tools are intended for adults producing podcasts in a professional context.
• If a guest who appears in recorded content is under 13, the host is responsible for obtaining verifiable parental consent before recording or publishing, and may not upload such footage without it.

If a child under 13 has created an account or appears in our data

A parent or legal guardian may request immediate review, account deletion, and removal of any personal information we may have inadvertently collected by emailing privacy@dagenmedia.com with the subject line "COPPA Request". We will respond within 10 business days, verify the request, and permanently delete the account and associated data.

Anyone — not just a parent — can also report a suspected underage user using the same email. Reports are reviewed promptly.

What information we collect

• Account: name, email, password (hashed by our identity provider), date of birth, optional profile photo.
• Studio content: shows, episodes, audio/video recordings, transcripts, thumbnails, scheduling and analytics you create.
• Guest data: contact details producers add to the Guests area for outreach.
• Service usage: credit/token consumption, login events, error logs.

How we use it

To provide the Service: authenticate you, produce and host your podcast, meter AI usage and storage credits, send transactional email, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information.

Your controls

• Update your profile and date of birth from Studio → Settings.
• Delete your account and content at any time by emailing privacy@dagenmedia.com.
• Request a copy of your personal data via the same address.
